CSV focal mechanisms output
The CSV output for the focal mechanism search produces one line per solution. Click here to load an example.
Each line has 35 fields, which are preformatted and comma separated. Each field is in one of 7 groups:
EVENT, ORIGIN, FM AUTHOR, MOMENT, MOMENT TENSOR COMPONENTS, NODAL PLANES, PRINCIPAL AXES
Group | Title | Position | Description |
---|---|---|---|
EVENT | EVENTID | 1-9 | Unique id number specific to each ISC event. |
ORIGIN | AUTHOR | 11-19 | Author of the origin linked to the focal mechanism solution. |
ORIGIN | DATE | 21-30 | Origin date. |
ORIGIN | TIME | 32-42 | Origin time. |
ORIGIN | LAT | 44-51 | Origin latitude. |
ORIGIN | LON | 53-61 | Origin longitude. |
ORIGIN | DEPTH | 63-67 | Origin depth (km). |
ORIGIN | CENTROID | 69-76 | Flag set to TRUE if the origin is reported as a centroid. Note: if the flag is not set to true, there is still a possibility that the origin is a centroid but was not reported as such. |
FM AUTHOR | AUTHOR | 78-86 | Author of the focal mechanism solution - often but not always the same as the author of the origin. |
